No doubt about it, the playground tire swing is fun, but when tire swing are made from real tires they are dirty and can ruin children's clothing. In addition, because tire swings can hold water they become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, and we know that's not good at all. We have the perfect solution and that's the roto molded tire swing, and the come in 5 great colors. The roto molded tire swing are made solid thus eliminating the potential for mosquitoes and they are color fast. We're sure you're going to like that.
Our tire swings measure 30” in diameter with a 16” opening and is 10” deep. It is made of Polypropylene plastic. This tire has built in eye bolts that will accept the H173 shackle and needs a H175 wrench to open and close. Tire is intended for use of no more than 3 children at a time and less than 50 lbs. each. This product should last 2 years in harsh conditions and up to 5 years in optimal conditions. Some conditions may require replacement sooner. Tensile strength 1000 lbs. Weighs 19 lbs.
This product meets all ASTM standards for playgrounds.
