Safe Play Base Rubber Pellet 3.8/35mm - 26.5 lb Bag
Made from 100% recycled material, these rubber pellets are designed to reduce the risk of injury from playground equipment falls. Part of the Safe Play system for playground protective surfacing, consisting of a polyurethane-bound cushion layer of recycled rubber engineered buffing pellets sized 35mm long and 3.8mm diameter and is overlaid with a polyurethane-bound wear surface of colorful recycled rubber TPV or EPDM granulates. Color top layer sold separately. Because of their uniform and pellet shape, the Safe Play Base Rubber Pellets mixes easily with polyurethane binder and is able to be easily installed with minimum compaction and excellent water permeability. Pellets are manufactured from recycled end-of-life tires and free from steel wires, dust, and foreign materials. Applications include municipal, school, preschool, and daycare playgrounds as well as outdoor exercises equipment installations. IPEMA certification is based on tested product thickness of 3-inches for 6-foot fall height and 5-inches for 10-foot fall height.
