The individual steel ribs are 11 gauge strap metal which are formed then welded to the steel framework. The decorative cast iron legs are 1 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" thick. The seat back on this beautiful commercial park bench has no arch the sturdy cast iron legs have mounting holes pre drilled in the feet to securely mount to concrete surfaces.
