Ages 6-23 Months Warning Label
Age Group 6-23 Month Labels (2.75" x 2.75" each) help with age separation, which is critical to safety and correct inspection evaluations! “For children ages 6 to 23 months” CPSC Section 2.2.6 says "Labels posted in the playground area or on the equipment should give some guidance to supervisors as to the age appropriateness of the equipment." Also, CPSC Section 2.2.7 says "Supervisors should look for posted signs indicating the appropriate age of the users and direct children to equipment appropriate for their age." See ASTM Standard #F1487 Section 5.2, and Section 14.2.1 that requires these labels as well.

ALL LABELS must be placed so that users and supervisors can see them from any direction that they approach the playground. For open playgrounds (non-fenced), labels can be placed on the equipment itself SUCH AS in a triangulated configuration (6:00, 10:00, & 2:00 o'clock positions) for the playground and equipment so that the labels are seen upon approach from any direction. For fenced-in playgrounds, most labels can be placed near or at the entry/entries on a freestanding post at adult eye level . In all cases, labels must be placed at adult eye level (except for Surfacing Level Markers). Consider covering labels with clear hard plastic to prohibit vandalism and to make them stay on surfaces that may be difficult to stick to. Use round headed screws that are not sharp.
